Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) will guide you to restructure coping strategies you learned early in life that are now getting in the way of you feeling as good as you deserve. You are naturally designed to have a secure sense of yourself, a self you can trust and rely on but sometimes feelings of depression, anxiety, or the emotional aftermath of traumatic events interfere with this wired-in capacity. With my warm and inviting presence I will help you recover from such emotional disruptions.
EFIT brings in a clearer view of who you are to yourself and in relationship to others. You will feel more steady and self resilient. You will earn more trust in yourself and because of this feel happier and more satisfied in your life.
Couples
Come with your partner.
Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) is widely recognized for strengthening and repairing strained relationships. You will learn how to break the negative interactional pattern by identifying your original attachment strategies and underlying emotions. With my kind and non-judgemental approach I will help you and your partner change unhelpful behavior and communicate more effectively to foster a deep and healthy connection. I will also help you heal, if your relationship has emotional wounds.
EFCT is about learning to reach for each other without defenses or mixed messages and discovering that when you can count on your partner’s emotional availability, you feel secure in the relationship and safer in the world.

Getting Started
Virtual Therapy
Work with me from the comfort of your own home. I conduct telehealth sessions through Simplepractice. Once we schedule your first visit, I will send you a link to your portal where you can fill out forms and receive appointment links for your sessions. All sessions are 60 minutes.
Insurance
I am not an insurance provider, however, some insurances allow reimbursement for ‘out of network’ therapy. Check with your plan! Read about the Good Faith Estimate here.
